Pro-crypto senator Cynthia Lummis discloses up-to-$100K BTC purchase

United States Senator Cynthia Lummis, a Republican from Wyoming, has revealed that she bought Bitcoin (BTC) value between $50,001 and $100,000 on Aug. 16, in response to paperwork filed on Thursday. 

The disclosure was a part of the Cease Buying and selling on Congressional Information Act, or STOCK Act, which prohibits the usage of personal data for revenue. The STOCK Act was signed into regulation beneath former President Barack Obama in April 2012 and is designed to fight insider buying and selling.
